This journey explores a variety of inking processes and techniques on paper, each one charged with a touch of magic. I began this practice by creating monotypes every Sunday for a set period, turning it into a regular practice. Working in series felt natural to me, perhaps due to my background in Graphic Design.

The sepia ink's color and behavior on paper are almost magical, as if it has a life of its own. The ink's interaction with the paper introduces an element of surprise, making every piece a discovery.

My goal is to master these techniques and develop a meticulously designed series. Through consistent practice and exploration, I aim to create works that are not only visually captivating but also demonstrate a deep understanding and control of the medium. Each piece will reflect a thoughtful integration of form and technique, culminating in a collection that showcases both artistic skill and creative vision.

Additionally, this journey is about pushing the boundaries of my own creativity. By experimenting with different inking methods and refining my techniques I am to uncover new possibilities within the medium. The process itself is as important as the final outcome, each step revealing something new and exciting.
